Attica - Wayne M. Kriger, Sr., 73 of Attica passed away on Wednesday (June 24, 2026) at Rochester General Hospital.

Mr. Kriger was born April 14, 1953 in Batavia, son of the late Alvin and Irene (Burg) Kriger.

Wayne was an avid Bills and Sabres fan. He also enjoyed playing Euchre, computer games, watching TV, and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Cheryl (Schum) Kriger of Attica; children, Wayne (Ashley) Kriger, Jr. of Hamburg, and Kelly (Bobby Donovan) Kriger of Stafford; grandson, Wayne Kriger, III; sister, Dawn (George) Thompson of Virginia. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday (June 29, 2026) from 4 to 6:00 p.m. at the Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main Street in Attica, where Wayne's funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 6:00 p.m. Burial in Pleasant View Cemetery will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Attica Rescue Squad.
