Attica - Thomas B. Meisner, 86 of Attica passed away on Monday, (November 3, 2025) at Buffalo VA Medical Center in Buffalo.
Tom was born June 9, 1939 in Batavia, a son of the late Donald Meisner and Irma (late Robert) Poquary Meisner Sheehan.
Tom served his country honorably with the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1964 and thereafter continued serving the residents of the Village of Attica as a police officer for 30+ years, including several as Chief. He was past president of the Attica Fire Department and a past member of the American Legion in Attica.
Tommy “Ticket” loved being a police officer serving and protecting the Attica community. Tom cherished his family, spending countless hours with his grandchildren. During retirement, Tom enjoyed patrolling on his porch with his K-9’s Cocoa, Suzie, and Millie.
Surviving are his sons, Scott (Laurie) Meisner of Gowanda and Todd (Amy) Meisner of Bennington; grandchildren, Ashley (Jeremy) Ammerman, Jacob Meisner, and Alexis Meisner; great-grandchildren, Alexia, Mia, and Myles.
Along with his parents, Tom is preceded in death by his wife, Connie (Wilson) Meisner; and siblings, Robert (late Joyce) Meisner, Richard Meisner, Sally (late Edwin) Schoenthal, Jack Sheehan, and Dolly Sheehan.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday (November 13, 2025) from 3 to 7:00 p.m. at the Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main Street in Attica, where Tom's funeral service will be held on Friday (November 14, 2025) at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Bill Hockey will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery in Attica. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Attica Fire Department.
