Sue Ellen Brocius

Buffalo - Sue Ellen Brocius, 62, of Buffalo passed away on Friday (March 13, 2026) at her home under the care of Hospice Buffalo and her loving family.

Sue was born December 26, 1963 in East Aurora, a daughter of the late Kenneth Brocius, Sr. and the late Patricia (Mattia) Gwynne.

Sue was a fire cracker, and didn't take anything from anyone. She was very loved by everyone who met her, and she loved them just as much. Her presence will be felt tremendously.

Sue is survived by her long-time companion, James Maund of Buffalo; children, Tara (Joey Marsceill, Jr.) Brocius of Buffalo, Sara Kahlil of West Seneca, and Devin (Kelsey Humes) Maund of Buffalo; grandchildren, Madison Spencer and Levi Maund; brothers, Kenneth (Rose) Brocius, Jr. of Nashville, Tennessee, and Timothy Brocius of Niagara Falls. Several nephews also survive.

Along with her parents, Sue is preceded in death by her sister, Tamara Brocius.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday (March 20, 2026) from 10 to 12:00 noon at Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main Street in Attica. Sue's funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Rev. Bill Hockey will officiate. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery in Attica.
