Sharon
Pierce
May 29, 1952 – April 8, 2026
Attica - Sharon Pierce passed away peacefully at her home in Attica, on April 8, 2026.
Born on May 29, 1952, Sharon was the daughter of the late Neil J. Miller and Marguerite "Marge" Miller. She spent her life surrounded by family, friends, and the natural beauty she so deeply loved.
Sharon is survived by her son, Eric Spriegel (Linda) of Williamsville, and her cherished granddaughter, Emily Spriegel. She is also survived by her brothers: Peter Miller (Debbie) of Corning, Daniel Miller (Suzanne) of Attica, Thomas Miller (Sue Ann) of North Java, Louis Miller (Mary) of East Bethany, Christopher Miller (Karen) of Strykersville, and Patrick Miller (Christine) of Spencerport. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Wessley Thomas Spriegel.
Sharon held close to a special group of friends whom she counted on for everything, including Grace Cole, Jane Stevens, Joshua Borycki, and Meryll Praller.
She retired from Harrington's Greenhouse in Elba, but retirement did not slow her down. Sharon remained active as a florist, especially enjoying assisting brides and helping make their wedding days beautiful. She was a proud member of the Attica Garden Club and found great joy in gardening, birds, cats, and crafting Christmas wreaths.
In keeping with Sharon's wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. A celebration of life will be held on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wyoming County SPCA at 808 Creek Road Attica, NY 14011.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main Street in Attica. Online messages of condolence may be left at www.marleyfuneralhome.com.
