Roger Hastings Daniel passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026.
He was born on December 20, 1943 in Waterbury, Connecticut a son of the late Claude and Honor Daniel.
Roger was raised in the Ken-Ton area through the 1970's and then moved to Attica in 1972. Following his retirement in education from Cleveland Hill and Williamsville North High School, he worked in mental health in correctional facilities. Roger enjoyed living in near solitude in his woodland residence.
In December 1970, he married the former Jacqueline Pacosz. They celebrated over 50 years of marriage until her passing in 2023.
He is survived by his sister, Nancy and his daughters, Melanie (Matt) Blow and Heather Daniel.
Friends may call on Friday from 5 pm to 7 pm at Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Attica.
