Bennington - Raymond L. Seiler, 88 of Bennington, passed away Saturday (July 18, 2026) at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo.

Mr. Seiler was born December 9, 1937 in Buffalo a son of the late Wilbur (late Wella) and Eileen (Mullen) Seiler.

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially boating, fishing, hunting, and camping, and had a passion for travel, visiting historic sites and taking in scenic landscapes. An accomplished woodworker, Raymond even built two of his own homes. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather whose kindness, work ethic, and commitment to others left a lasting impact on both his family and community.

Surviving are his children, Matthew (Diane) Wieczhalek-Seiler of Concord, New Hampshire, Margaret "Peggy" Grindstaff of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, and Mark (Valerie) Seiler of Blasdell; grandchildren, Candice (Ronald) Zuccaro, Nicholas (Tristen) Grindstaff, and Samantha Seiler; great-grandchildren, Dominic Zuccaro, Jessalyn, Austin and Alexis Grindstaff; brother, Kenneth (late Christine) Seiler of Tampa Bay, Florida.
