Attica - Natalie J. Slocum, 92 of Attica passed away on Wednesday, (October 8, 2025) at Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw.
Mrs. Slocum was born June 29, 1933 in Attica, a daughter of the late Arthur Suess, Sr. and Delia (Seufert) Suess.
Natalie was a former member of the American Legion Lady's Auxiliary in Attica. She was devoted to her family and will be remembered for her cooking and baking. She was outgoing, very giving, loving and nurturing. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Mrs. Slocum is survived by her daughter, Dee (Jeff Stevens) Bishop of Attica; grandsons, Daniel and Ryan Bishop both of Attica. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Along with her parents, Natalie is reunited in death with her husbands, Thomas Bishop and Dale Slocum; children, Michael Bishop, James and Timothy Slocum; sisters, Janet Riley, Ardith (late Irving) VanValkenburg, Muriel (late Donald) Willard, Lorraine (late Paul) Krikpatrick, and Mary Lou (late Robert) Edwards; brothers, Arthur Suess, Jr., Norman Suess, Irving (late Christina) Suess, Richard Suess, and Robert (late Edna) Suess.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, (October 14, 2025) from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main Street in Attica. Natalie's Funeral Service will immediately follow visitation at 6:00 p.m. Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery in Attica will be private.
