Mary A Busch

September 9, 1958 — April 18, 2026

Mary A. Busch, 67 of Darien, was led by angels into the love and peace of Jesus on April 18th, 2026.

Mary was born September 9th, 1958, in Olean, New York, and blessed with her dearest and true parents by God's will, the late Edmund and Alice (Stanczewski) Kiedrowski. She is now reunited with them in loving embrace.

Mary adored gardening and sharing the beauty of her flowers with her neighbors. She enjoyed peaceful walks outside, though nothing would ever beat a walk on the beach. Whether it be out on the lakes or a venture to the coast, beaches were the place that made her soul sing with happiness. She always had a knack for spotting special wildflowers, rocks, seashells & sea glass, never missing an opportunity to value nature's beauty. When she couldn't be out soaking up the sun, she enjoyed cozy time at home, where she would sew quilts or cuddle up on the couch watching her favorite shows and movies with her beloved cat, Manny. She had a flair for walking into any store or shop and finding the best bargains. Always thinking of others and remembering their individual likes, she would dotingly bestow the treasures she found on her family, friends, and neighbors. Mary was a social butterfly. She cherished every moment shared with family and friends, especially if it involved bingo, Chinese auctions, or a concert. Rock music was always her very favorite, especially after experiencing her first show as a teenager when she tagged along to see The Guess Who with her big brother. She amassed an impressive variety of concerts throughout her lifetime, but Aerosmith and The Goo Goo Dolls were always her must-see bands any time they rolled into town.

Of everything and everyone, there was nothing Mary loved more dearly than her children. She was many wonderful things, but most importantly she was the most wonderful mother. She was the definition of unconditional love, support, and selflessness. It was her greatest pride and joy. The gifts she left them of beautiful memories and knowing a mother's true love will be cherished forever and always. There will never be another day on this earth where Mary isn't deeply loved and missed until they can be together again.

She is survived by her children, Julie Busch, Ariana (Jake) Werner, and Phillip Busch; their father, Michael Busch; her big brother, Peter Kiedrowski; and half-brother, Brian (Judy) Jasko, found late in life after choosing to discover her birth family.
