Alexander - Mark E. Brown, 70 of Alexander, passed away on Saturday (June 6, 2026) at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.

Mark was born June 18, 1955 in Buffalo, a son of the late Richard D. and Marie (Shafer) Brown.

Mark was a talented musician and songwriter; his love of music was his life. He was a man who was happiest in the woods with a campfire, his guitar and his friends. Mark's best friend was his dog Molly, who was always by his side.

Mark is survived by his sister, Diana (Randy) Huber of Leesburg, Florida; brother, Matthew Brown of Forest City, Florida; nieces and nephews, Nathan (Kacie) Huber, Stephanie Boyd, Ryan Brown, and Rachel Brown; great-nieces, Adelynn Boyd and Evelyn Brown, and great-nephew Kota Boyd.

Honoring Mark's wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alexander Central School Music Boosters.
