Obituary

Kimberly S. Cassidy, 66 of Batavia, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Gateway Home in Attica following a brief illness and surrounded by family. She was born on February 1, 1960 in Morganville, the daughter of the late Harold Woodrich Sr. and Shirley Pullyblank. She was preceded in death by her brother Harold Woodrich Jr. and loving father of her children James Cassidy.

Kim attended Oakfield-Alabama High School and was a retired nanny and maintenance worker, although her true loves were homemaking and caretaking. She was very generous and loved to help out family and friends in need, even if it was just to cook them a delicious meal or talk on the phone through a hard time. She loved music, dancing, and enjoyed watching local live bands. She spent many years as a nanny for Amy and Katie, who she cared for with love and adored dearly. In retirement, Kim enjoyed her independence, reading, and watching true crime. She loved to laugh and spend time with her cat, Ella. Kim's favorite activities were cooking and interior decorating. Her greatest joy was found in being a mother to her three children and a grandmother to Jameson and Vaeda. Kim was someone who was always on your side, extremely giving, and kind to everyone.

She will be forever loved and missed by her children, Kolleen Cassidy (Bradley Smith), Katrina O'Connor, and Karah Cassidy, brothers Scott Woodrich and Gregg Woodrich (Monalisa), Sheila Woodrich (sister-in-law), grandchildren Jameson and Vaeda O'Connor, many nieces and nephews, dear friends, and her treasured cat, Ella.

Honoring her wishes, services will be private at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest in Cary Cemetery in Oakfield with her parents. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Gateway Home, 91 Main St. Attica, NY 14011. https://www.gatewayhomeattica.org/.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main Street in Attica. Online messages of condolence may be left at www.marleyfuneralhome.com.
