Joan M. Dugan

Joan M. Dugan, 82, of Darien Center passed away peacefully on Saturday September 8, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. Joan was born on April 21, 1936 in Buffalo to the late Herbert and Irene (Manzack) Fouchie. She is also predeceased by her husband; William Dugan and daughter Deborah Taylor.

Joan was very active in the Darien Ladies Auxiliary and the Fire Department. She was the Darien Tax Collector for many years. Joan treasured her friends and the times they got to share. She was always on the go and was very strong, fighting until the end. Joan will be dearly missed by her family, friends and the members of the card club.

She is survived by her children; Glenn (Mary) Dugan of Roanoke, VA., Rebecca (Henry) Juliano of N. Tonawanda; son-in-law Jack Taylor of Batavia; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

There will be no prior calling hours. A 10:00AM Memorial Service will be held on Friday September 14, 2018 at Marley Funeral Home, LLC. 135 Main Street Attica, New York 14011. Joan will be laid to rest in the Darien Cemetery next to her husband. A luncheon will immediately follow at the Pizza Pantry in Corfu.
