Attica - Gregory "Muff" Williams passed away on Tuesday (May 12, 2026) at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia at the age of 73.

Greg was born on March 17, 1953, a son to the late Theresa and Donald Williams. He lived in Attica, NY for his entire life.

Greg worked as a corrections officer at Attica Correctional Facility for over 30 years and spent almost as much time happily retired. Greg was an avid hunter and fisherman with several of his trophies mounted on the walls of his home. In retirement, Greg was a dedicated father and grandfather who loved spending time with his daughter and his grandchildren.

Greg is survived by his wife, Cindy, his daughter Erin (Brian) Edwards, and his two wonderful grandchildren, Miles and Zelda.

No services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the volunteer ambulance service in Attica, New York who were very kind and helpful to the family.
