Grant M Whitmore

Grant M. Whitmore, 62, of Alexander, passed away on May 3, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born September 14, 1963, to the late Calvin and Barbara (Mugglin) Whitmore. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Catherine Whitmore; son, Anthony Whitmore; and sister, Charlotte.

He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, enjoying fishing, mowing his lawn, riding his Ryker, and making apple cider. He especially treasured time spent at the park with his grandchildren and was a devoted volunteer in church activities, always willing to give of himself to others.

Surviving are his children, Jennifer (Mykeal) Myers, Jeffery Whitmore, and Jeremiah Whitmore; foster son, Wayne Martin; grandchildren, Isabella, Evelyn, and Annalya; siblings, Daniel (Roxanne) Whitmore, Thomas (Susanne) Whitmore, JoAnne (Bob) Sonricker, Jane (Lyle) Roach, Mary (Steve) Dumas, and Linda (Fred) Whitmore-Damon; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life on May 5, 2026 (05/05/2026) at The Bridge Church, 234 Swan St., Batavia, at 1:00 PM. Grant will be laid to rest next to his wife, Catherine, in Millsville Cemetery.
