Elizabeth A. Cathie, affectionately known as "Tish," passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on August 14th, 1946, in Batavia, Tish was a lifelong resident of Batavia.
A dedicated and compassionate soul, Tish pursued her passion for helping others by becoming a Registered Nurse. She was a proud graduate of the University of Buffalo and spent her career caring for patients at United Memorial Medical Center and the former Genesee County Nursing Home.
Tish was preceded in death by her loving parents, John Cathie and Elizabeth Williams Cathie, as well as her dear brother, Alexander Cathie.
Private graveside services will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Attica, honoring Tish's wishes. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Tish's memory are encouraged to make a donation to a charity of their choice.
