Douglas Erwin Hawley

Douglas Erwin Hawley, 71 of Cowlesville, passed on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at his home in Cowlesville.

He was born in Cowlesville on April 4, 1955, to the late Harry and late Elaenor (Boies) Hawley. Doug was a devoted Buffalo Bills fan who never missed a game, always cheering on his beloved team. A private man by nature, he was content to keep to himself and enjoy the quiet comforts of life. He had a special place in his heart for his cats and cherished his family, who meant so much to him. Though he

may not have always expressed his feelings in words, his love for those closest to him was a meaningful part of who he was. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his children, Shawn, Thor, and Melanie Hawley; nephews, Nigel and Christopher Hawley, and aunt, Margaret Hawley; In death, Doug is reunited with his parents, Harry and Elaenor Hawley; brother, Raymond Hawley, and sisters, Shirley and Rosemary Hawley.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main St., Attica, NY. There will be no services at this time.
