Batavia - Doris A. Lindebauer, 95 of Batavia, formerly of Attica, passed away on Monday (March 9, 2026) at LeRoy Village Green Nursing and Rehabilitation in LeRoy.
Mrs. Lindebauer was born June 6, 1930 in Attica a daughter of the late William and Anna (Pfalzer) Lippold.
Doris was a past parishioner of St. Vincent's Church in Attica and St. Mary's Church in Batavia. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren along with listening to music and dancing. Doris was an avid golfer and skier.
Surviving are her children, Nancy (Thomas) Petherick of Batavia, Larry (Sophia) Lindebauer of California, and John Lindebauer of North Carolina; grandchildren, Michele (Paul) Emmert, Lisa (Jonathan) Shell, Staci Petherick, Kyle (Robert) Baker, Zaw (Di) Oo, and Nanda Lindebauer; great-grandchildren, William (Victoria) Emmert, Samantha Emmert, Olivia Shell, Jacob, Jared, and Jude Wilson, and Noble Baker; brother, Paul (late Pat) Lippold of Oakfield; sisters, Joan (Sam) O'Geen of LeRoy. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Along with her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lindebauer; brother, Chuck (late Bev) Lippold; and sister, Ruth (late Frank) Dudek.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday (March 27, 2026) from 4 to 7:00 p.m. at the Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main Street in Attica. Doris' Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday (March 28, 2026) at St. John Neumann Parish - St. Vincent's Worship Site, 50 East Avenue in Attica. Burial will follow in St. Vincent's Cemetery in Attica.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Gateway Home in Doris' memory. Online condolences may be left at www.marleyfuneralhome.com.
