Charline Evelyn Dacey

Charline Evelyn Dacey, 75, of Varysburg passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Gateway Home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 12, 1951, in Warsaw, a daughter of the late Charles and the late Evelyn (Washburn) Cramer.

Charline found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from antiquing and sewing to filling her home with the comforting aromas of her baking. For many years, she devoted herself to Girl Scouts, and caring for children at her daycare, offering them not only her loving care but also a warm and nurturing place to grow. Her gentle heart and caring nature touched the lives of many families over the years. Above all, Charline cherished her family, who meant the world to her, and her beloved dogs, who brought her endless love and companionship. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and treasured memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Charline is survived by her children, William "Bill" (Michelle) Snyder, Sandy (Daniel) Smart, Theresa (Darryl) Thurston, and Tracy Snyder; grandchildren, Kelsey (Brandon), Brad, Brandon, Alan, Aubrey, Jaiden, Hailey, and Fisher; great grandchildren, Evelyn and Eden; siblings, Glenn (Amy) Cramer, Daniel (Betty Jane) Walters, and Ada (Daniel) Zickfoose; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In death Charline is reunited with her husband, Edward Dacey, parents Charles and Evelyn Cramer, and 5 siblings.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main St., Attica. Charline will be laid to rest with her husband, Edward, in Leicester Cemetery, at the convenience of the family.
