Mr. Charles G. Post, 86, of Darien Center, a Korean War Army Veteran died on Wednesday February 3, 2016 at the NYS Veterans Home @ Batavia. He was born February 7, 1929 in Rochester, NY, the son of the late Grant and Bertha (Scott) Post. Charles is predeceased by his wife, June (Woy) Post, who passed away on December 28, 2011; a brother Bud Post and a sister Jane Martinez.

Charles was a retired maintenance worker at Attica Westinghouse. He was a member of the Alexander VFW and the North Darien Church.

Charles is survived by four sons; Michael (Brenda) Post of Alexander, David (Angie) Post of Arizona, Mark (Connie) Post of Byron and Douglas (Ann) Post of Attica; Eight grandchildren and Three great grandchildren; a brother Raymond (Donna) Post of Perry, brother-in-law Gilbert Martinez of Warsaw along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no prior calling hours. An 11:00AM Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 19, 2016 at the North Darien Baptist Church 9762 Simonds Rd. Corfu, NY 14036. He will be laid to rest in the Varysburg Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the North Darien Baptist Church, 9762 Simonds Rd. Corfu, NY 14036.
