Catherine L. Whitmore

September 13, 1964 — January 30, 2018

Catherine L. Whitmore, 53, of Alexander went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2018 at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo. She was born on September 13, 1964 in Williamsport, PA to the late David and Charlotte (Persing) Miller.

Catherine was a loving mother to her 4 children and 3 granddaughters. Before her illness she loved her job as a Registered Nurse where she worked at the New York State Veterans Home in Batavia and most recently ECMC shock trauma unit.

She is survived by her loving husband; Grant Whitmore of Alexander; children Anthony Whitmore of Alexander, Jennifer (Myke) Meyers of Attica, Jeffrey Whitmore of Alexander and Jeremiah Whitmore of Alexander; siblings David Miller of FL., Charlie (Carrie) Miller of NC., Kimberly (Rick) Misch of Watertown and Rebecca Miller; 3 granddaughters Isabella, Evelyn and Anna Lea Meyers.

There will be no prior calling hours. A 4:00PM Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 3, 2018 at the New Life Fellowship Church 909 Creek Rd. Attica, NY 14011.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Roswell Park Cancer Institute Elm & Carlton Streets Buffalo, NY 14623.
