Attica - Alfred J. Graff, 92, of Attica passed away on Wednesday (January 21, 2026) at the New York State Veteran's Home in Batavia.
Mr. Graff was born December 3, 1933 in Bennington, a son of the late Edward and Agnes (Sczepanski) Graff, Sr.
Alfred was a parishioner of St. John Neumann Parish - St. Vincent's Worship Site in Attica. He cherished every moment spent outdoors; whether it was fishing, hunting, tending to his lawn, or simply just being - Alfred loved to be outside.
Surviving is his wife, Sharon (Hawthorn) Graff; children, Debra (Norman) Pratt of Darien Center, Laurie Graff Hart of Kansas City, Missouri, and David (Jody) Graff of Bennington; grandchildren, Paul (Danielle Kilgore) Krotz, Stacy (Eric) Bolles, Kate Hart, Deirdre Hart, Emily (Aaron) Jackson, and Johnathan Graff; great-grandchildren, Carter, Colin, Raegan, Adeline, and Lucy; a sister, Irene (late Walter) Cherry of Akron; sister-in-law, Sandra Graff of Attica.
Along with his parents, Alfred is preceded in death by his siblings, Dorothy Winch, Harold (late Mabel) Graff, Paul (late Beatrice) Graff, Milly (late Richard) Glor, Rita Amend, and Edward Graff, Jr.
There will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend Alfred's Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday (February 3, 2026) at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Neumann Parish - St. Vincent's Worship Site, 50 East Avenue in Attica. Burial in Western New York National Cemetery in Pembroke will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the New York State Veteran's Home - Sunshine Fund, 220 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, New York 14020.
