Robert G. Daniel

Robert G. Daniel, 95 of Sheldon, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2023, at Charlotte House surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Sheldon on March 3, 1928, son of the late George and Estella (Gebel) Daniel.

Bob owned and operated Daniel Dairy Farm in Sheldon for over 50 years. He loved driving and in addition to working the family farm, he drove school bus, milk truck, snow plow and had a trucking business hauling hay, sawdust and paper bedding to local farms. Later in life, he enjoyed meeting friends at his favorite restaurants and driving his 4-wheeler around the farm with Maggie, the farm dog by his side.

Surviving are his loving wife of 64 years, Patricia (Streicher) Daniel whom he married September 6, 1958, his sons James (Linda), Gary (Ann); grandchildren, Dylan (Alicia), Deanna and Curtis; step grandchildren Brian Zanghi and Krista (Howard) Gutzman and step great grandchildren Mikaila, Aiden, Hayden and Georgia, sisters Jean (late Carl) George, Donna (Robert) Kirsch, brother-in-law Jack Streicher and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Bob at 11 am on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at St. John Neumann Church, Sheldon site, 991 Centerline Rd. He will be laid to rest in St. Cecilia's Cemetery, Sheldon.
