Robert E. Kelsey

Robert “Bob” E. Kelsey, 83, of Alexander, NY passed away on January 16, 2019. He was born in Batavia, NY on March 4, 1935 to the late Erle and the late Fannie (Williams) Kelsey. He was predeceased by his siblings, Hazel Miller, Daniel Kelsey, Deforest William “Bill” Kelsey.

Bob had a love for anything outdoors. He loved Hunting, fishing, boating, 4 wheeling and spending time at Kelsey’s Pond with his family. He was on the Tuesday night bowling league , was a lifetime member of the VFW in Alexander, lifetime member of the Alexander Fire Department, a member of the Masonic Temple, and he was a member of the Town Board of Alexander. When you wanted to find Bob, he would be in his “office” in the garage. Bob will be extremely missed by his family, friends, and anyone that knew him. Camp Kelsey will never be the same!

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 40 years; Margaret ( Pautler); his children Calvin (Meri) Kelsey, Lynne (Jeffrey) George, Robert W. Kelsey, Kerry (Michelle) Kelsey, Cindy M. (Mark Saunders) Reiner, Cheryl L. (Craig) Beebe, Christine L. (Jay) Bradley, and Carla J. Fugle; brother, Gordon (Gayleen) Kelsey; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11:00AM – 2:00PM on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Marley Funeral Home, LLC. 135 Main Street Attica, New York 14011. A Funeral Service will immediately follow visitation at 2:00PM at the Funeral Home.
