Linda Kay (Strong) Clark, 65, originally of Alexander, NY and most recently from Virginia Beach, VA passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Earl Strong and sons Martin Clark II and Daniel Clark.

She was survived by daughter, Kelly Nordby, son-in-law JR Nordby, grandchildren Cole and Finley Nordby and Mackenzi and Hagen Clark, daughter-in-law Danielle “Katie” Clark, sister Sharon Meisner, brother Ralph Marvin, nieces Lorie Wawrzyniak, Patty Charles, Kristy Bowen, and nephews Jimmy Barrett and Bradley Meisner.

She was an active community member throughout her life. Her involvement included a Sunday School teacher at Alexander Methodist Church and color guard captain in the Alexander Fire Department Band. She graduated from Alexander Central School in 1967 and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from The College at Brockport: State University of New York in 1971 and her Master’s Degree in Education at Old Dominion University in 1983. She was a Reading Specialist and Assistant Principal in Chesapeake, VA for 25 years. Linda will be remembered for her fun-loving spirit and her passions for singing, cooking, her golden retrievers and especially her grandchildren.

Friends are invited to call on Friday September 26, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM at Marley Funeral Home, LLC. 135 Main Street Attica, NY 14011. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday September 27, 2014 at the Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery, Attica.
